  • WHERE DO I BEGIN?

    Fill out the Enquiry form and submit and we will guide you through the process.


  • HOW DO I START THE NCLEX PROCESS?

    The candidate:
    1. contacts the State Board of Nursing where he/she wishes to obtain license

    2. must meet Board of Nursing eligibility requirements

    3. submits and pays for application directly to Board of Nursing and candidate is notified of eligibility to take exam by Board

    4. arranges exam appointment with PearsonVUE, pays exam fee, and takes test


  • WHO WILL FIND A JOB FOR ME?

    NIS will find you a suitable job. They have contacts with all major healthcare facilities throughout the United States and will guide you through all the procedures to work abroad.


  • WILL I HAVE TO SIGN AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT AND CAN I CHANGE JOBS?

    Yes, many companies have multiple facilities and it is possible to transfer to different State facilities within the same company


  • DO I HAVE TO PAY ANY FEES TO NIS?

    No. We get paid by the hospital or healthcare facility
  • HOW DOES THE VISASCREEN AND GREEN CARD PROCESS WORK?

    Once you have been selected by an employer for the job, our associate law firm will start the immigration process. Your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 will also qualify for permanent residency visas (Green Card)


  • WHAT IS A VISASCREEN CERTIFICATE?

    This process is administered by the CGFNS. Please refer to their website for more details www.cgfns.org Once you have completed the process you will receive a certificate that becomes part of your permanent residency application.


  • HOW LONG DOES THE WHOLE PROCESS TAKE?

    This will vary from State to State. The process takes several months from the start of application


  • WHAT DO AMERICAN HOSPITALS AND OTHER US HEALTHCARE FACILITIES EXPECT FROM THEIR NURSES?

    Nurses in the US have more autonomy than you are used to in your country. NIS will offer you cultural orientation guidance as you go along the process.
